2024 - Jones Horan auction, 4 May 2024, sold $10,500, "A HAPPY UPDATE ADDED ON APRIL 25, 2024: The watch’s chronograph function had a small hangup that was observed on April 18th, but this has been easily fixed by our watchmaker, who said it was a simple adjustment. Our video shows the repeat and chronograph functions working correctly! EPW - Haas Neveux & Co, Genève, minute repeater with split-seconds chronograph and 30-minute register, 49mm, 18K rose gold OF original H.N. & Co. case with hidden hinges, small Jürgensen-style lips, slide on band at 12:30 to allow/prevent chronograph function, gold cuvette, white enamel triple-sunk dial, fancy gold Louis XV style hands, SW-SS, fully capped lever escapement with counterpoise, 37J, fausses-côtes pattern nickel damascene, twin Genève seals, s#19218 within case. Gross weight of assembled watch 62.1 dwt (96.7 g). From the collection of Ethan Lipsig. CONDITION: Mvt: Running, good repeat function and tone, good primary chronograph function aside from somewhat choppy motion of hand due to very frequent stalls for a beat or two before hand skips forward to correct position (SEE ADDENDUM at beginning of description regarding the chronograph function), good split-seconds function, good minute register function, nearly mint cosmetic mvt condition overall, some scattered very small micro-fine scratches and tiny surface nicks; dial with outer chapter hls at 7, outer chapter hl near 12, hl above seconds-register, hl below 30-minute register, hl to right side of center section; nearly mint hour hand, minute hand, and sweep-seconds-hands, fine subsidiary seconds-hand with bend to its tail, excellent minute register hand is gilt and of differing tone relative to other hands; case shows light wear, micro-fine scratches to rear, nick or small ding to front of band at 11:30, tiny bit of metal loss adjacent right side of bezel hinge, few scattered negligible pinpoint nicks and extremely subtle soft dings, case rear and cuvette open somewhat short of 90 degrees (to approximately 75 degrees), case front opens a bit short of 90 degrees (to approximately 80 degrees); tight bow, crown shows medium wear with ridge break; clean plastic crystal."
